Another round of small things that add up.

Listen to any post

Every post now has a Listen to this post button under the headline. One tap and your browser reads the article out loud — good for walks, commutes, or just resting your eyes. One more tap stops it. It uses your device built-in voice, so there is nothing to install and nothing extra loads.

Better author pages

Profiles looked a bit bare, especially for new members. They now show a proper card: your avatar, your badges, when you joined, and how many posts you have — and if there is nothing published yet, the page says so politely instead of just… blank space.

Trusted members can write

Writing is no longer staff-only. Trusted members — the green shield — can now write and publish their own posts, same editor, same everything. Want the badge? Be helpful in the comments and the staff will notice. Staff can also take it away, so keep it classy.

Accessibility pass

Small but real: the report dialog now behaves properly for screen readers, status messages announce themselves, headings are in the right order, and a thin progress bar under the address bar shows how far through a long post you are.

Also fixed

  • The banner on the previous announcement looked odd in one corner — redrawn.
  • Reading progress and the Listen button both switch off politely if your device does not support them.
