The blog hosts user-submitted content. If something posted here infringes your copyright, you can ask us to remove it. We comply with valid takedown notices and counter-notices, and we remove repeat infringers.
01Sending a DMCA notice
Under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512), a takedown notice should identify:
- The copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
- The exact URL(s) of the material on this site you want removed.
- Your contact details, so we can reach you.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you own the rights or act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Send it with the subject line "DMCA notice" through the contact page or by opening a GitHub issue marked "DMCA" on the site repository.
02Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe it was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice with the removed URL(s), your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, your consent to local jurisdiction, and your signature. We will restore content unless we are notified that a lawsuit has been filed.
03Repeat infringers
Accounts that receive valid takedown notices for posted content are suspended or banned in line with the community rules.
